    A PDF looks the same on every device, so it is the safe format for a CV, a contract or an application. Convert when a portal asks for PDF, when you want to stop others from reflowing your text, or when you simply need a file that opens anywhere.

    Tips for a better result

    • Check the first page of the result before you send an important file.
    • Save an old .doc file as .docx in Word first; only .docx is supported.
    • To shrink a large result, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.

    What to expect

    The converter rebuilds the document from its text, headings, lists, tables and pictures in a clean layout. Fonts, columns, headers, footers, text boxes and exact page breaks from Word are not reproduced, so the pages may differ from what you see in Word.
