Can you open a PDF if I forgot the password?
No. This tool only works when you know the password. It does not guess or break passwords.
Will the text in my PDF stay selectable?
Yes. The file is decrypted, not converted to pictures. Only if a very unusual file cannot be decrypted, the tool offers a copy made of page images and tells you so.
